skynight: kebetulan dah ga ada dvd-rw ide nganggur. Yg kmrn nganggur malah tiba2x rusak pas dpasang di komputer lain. Burning gagal terus!

3. Copy file grldr dan menu.lst root drive C: dimana file ntldr (XP) atau bootmgr (Vista) berada.
File menu.lst juga bisa bikin baru pake Notepad karena cuma plain text.

Dalam pencarian metode multiboot, akhirnya bertemu dengan GRUB Bootloader yang ternyata sangat powerfull!
Hanya butuh dua file (grldr dan menu.lst) dan trik rename file!!
Metode yang digunakan juga aman, karena tidak perlu menginstall MBR GRUB, jadi tetap menggunakan MBR yang terinstall yaitu XP/Vista.

Multiboot XP|Vista|Leopard

1. Rename file:
ntldr --> ntldrxp
bootmgr --> bootmgrv
grldr --> ntldr
grldr --> bootmgr
jadi, kopikan file grldr dua kali.

2. Edit file menu.lst menjadi seperti di bawah ini:

# Boot XP dgn mencari dan loading ntldrxp

chainloader /bootmgrv

# Boot OSx86 dgn mencari dan loading chain0

find --set-root /chain0
chainloader /chain0

di menu.lst ditambah apa, trus file apa aJa yg di kopi di root C windows

Linux kok pusing? ya tinggal tambahin di menu.lst grubnya linux lah.
gak perlu ribet metode rename segala.

dah coba2 -+ 20x instal ulang ada beberapa yg berhasil trus hang pas rebot .. malah jd still waiting

malah terakhir mouse PS2 nya gak kedetect padahal dah pilih PS/2 Keyboard fix.

rencana mau coba tanpa driver VGA,sound,Lan, jd chipset nya dulu ....



ACHI di bios dah di disable


langkah instal nya ikutin di http://wiki.osx86project....10.5.6#Gigabyte

tp gagal semua ....

wah setelah 23an instl nya dah mulai ada titik terang nih

tinggal audio nya ...

mau tanya klo di pc power management perlu ga?

trus alternate disabler buat apa yah ......?

ia trus kan VGA ane 9800gt 1024mb pake nvinject kedetect 512, pake NVIDIA_9000_Series_Drivers kedetect 768
katanya bisa GFX Strings Walkthrough aqua mac ... tp gw gak bisa niban file com.apple.boot.plist krn status nya user .....

klo mau ngerubah file permision bgimana yah harus login jd system ?? bgimana caranya ??


saia coba aktifin QE/CI dr OSx86 tools ..abis reboot crash ....
cara balikin nya lg bgimana yak ?

trus klo udah crash & keluar tulisan still waiting blablabla cara ngbalikn nya bgimana ?

trus pernah jg driver VGA pake - NVdarwin 1024MB ....pas starup pertama kali setelah -v malah blank ...

ia maap lupa nyatumin spec LANcard nya ....
lan nya realtek 8111c driver nya kena di R1000


kayanya pake distro iPC OSx86 10.5.6 kekurangan nya dikernel nya kurang banyak variasi nya

tp ga gpp tetep learn & search sementara lg Download LEO retail ma distro XxX....

ia,... kaya nya report & suport iPC OSx86 10.5.6 on GA EP45-UD3LR nya ane bikin thread baru aja :hello1:

kudu pilih "MacBook Pro Latest NVIDIA kexts" juga, itu berisi update device-id Nvidia.

saran sih pake XxX 10.5.6 Final v2 + PPF1
udah include Chameleon2 dgn driver yg kumplit.

Zor, gw mo nanya dong, nih

klo install bootloader chameleon v2.0 itu bisa diedit ga nih?

klo main bootloader (boot loader utama) kan pastinya muncul pertama kali lah, tapi itu bisa di edit2 ga? apa dia langsung detect windows?

menurut saya.. kaya nya sih bisa ... lebih aman nya instal di partisi beda aja nih cara instal nya

ihackintosh ins tallchameleon-20-rc1

malah bootloader nya bisa di instal di UFD nih lg nyoba2 jg bikin partisi khusus bwat bootloader nya

mau ikut menambahkan saja dari tutorial buatan om z0r :icon_smile:
masih ada yg kurang yaitu cara menambahkan linux pada entry grub4dos

ini adalah yg uda gw coba dan ternyata berhasil
cm pas saat install ubuntu, GRUB nya ubuntu ga bisa diinstal ke partisi ubuntu entah kenapa
lagian mmg mo coba pake grub4dos :iconbiggrin:
yg perlu diperhatikan cm bagian

root=/dev/sdb2


diganti dg sesuai dg partisi dimana linux dipasang
bagi yg pake distro linux lainnya kira2 hampir sama saja

Mau tanya, aku mau coba install iPC OSx86 universal 10.5.6 final di compie ku, yg udah dual boot winxpsp3 dan ubuntu, dual boot standar ubuntu pake grub

PC konfigurasi :
Processor dual core Intel Pentium D 805 CPU 2.66GHz
Instructions sets MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, EM64T
Mobo Asus P5sD2-x
Chipset Northbridge SiS 656 rev. 10
Southbridge SiS 965 rev. 48
Graphic Card PCI-X16 Asus Extreme AX850 ATI Radeon 256 MB
Memory DDR2= 2GB kingston PC5300 (2x @ 1GB)
Hardisk 1 Maxtor IDE 40GB (XP dan Ubuntu)
2 Seagate IDE 80 GB (kosong)
NIC Intel pro 1000
DVDRW Asus DRW1814BLT - SATA
Sound card onboard Soundmax

Pengennya sih di install ke hardisk ke 2 yg masih kosong, mungkin di partisi utk 40gb bisa gak ya? trus mutiple bootnya perlu bikin baru ato pake yg udah ada (grub linux)

bisa. siapin primary partition dgn volume label tanpa spasi.

ntar pilih kernel Voodoo & driver chipset SiS. jgn lupa baca readme distro-nya dgn teliti.

yup, pake Grub yg ada aja.

kalo mo OSX yg dijadikan bootmanager utama, ya kudu pake Chameleon2 bootloader.
di iPC blom ada. distro yg udah ada Chameleon2 cuma XxX 10.5.6 Final v2 ppf1

kalo mo OSX yg dijadikan bootmanager utama, ya kudu pake Chameleon2 bootloader.
di iPC blom ada. distro yg udah ada Chameleon2 cuma XxX 10.5.6 Final v2 ppf1

Install gak masalah, ke HD2 bikin partisi baru pake HD Utility di DVD installer mac...
habis restart... pilih boot pake HD2 .... gak bisa boot, lari ke grub ubuntu...

chek fdisk -l di ubuntu :

IPC mac ada di /dev/sdb2 yg unknown, kelihatan boot-nya di /dev/sdb1

jadi edit di grub:

boot lagi... tapi muncul pesen - Non System disk... minta masukin boot loader...

gimana bang ada ide ?

ow.. pake GPT? kurang tau deh kalo manggil partisi yg ada di GPT pake Grub.
gw sih selalu pake skema MBR.

partisi HFS udah di set aktif? kalo GPT, kudu pake terminal.

HDD2 cuma ada 1 partisi? coba gini:

udah jajal boot ke HDD2 sbg first boot sequence di BIOS?
kalo itu aja gak bisa, berarti ada masalah:
- cek apakah partisi HFS-nya udah set active. tengok di hal.4 paling atas.
- bootloader cuma 1 yg dipilih, bisa PCEFI9 (kalo gak salah di iPC udah default, jadi gak usah milih) atau Chameleon.
pilih apa aja waktu install?

bisa boot.... first boot pake -v -f.... brenti di
Loading HFS+ file:[/system/library/extentions/IODBStorageFamily.kext/content/Info.plist] from 4234670

Sesuai anjuran.. kernel Voodoo, chip pilih SIS.... di pilihannya ada VIA/SIS/dst....

trus ... gimana lagi bang Zor... ini udah nambah selangkah lagi... minimal dah mulai bisa boot pake grub...
